Are you trained to deal with asbestos?
Even if you have no intention of removing asbestos but work on buildings or refurbish buildings built before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. By LAW you must be provided with awareness training. If you are a worker, and have not had any asbestos awareness training in the last 2 years this is definitely the event for you.
The North & West Yorkshire Working Well Together Group is delighted to announce that OHS Ltd, Bradford are kindly running 8 x FREE Asbestos Awareness sessions from 24 January 2012 until 13 March 2012 (one course per week throughout this period - see each month of Events section for details). These follow hot on the heels of Asbestos Awareness training which the Health & Safety Executive (through its various delivery partners) ran in October & November 2011.
It is aimed at self-employed individuals & companies of any size but primarily self-employed individuals & small/micro (1-15 employees) sized companies.
